Garima works primarily in oils and charcoal, drawn to their rich traditions exploring the often overlooked connection between human life and the natural world. Her love for plants, animals, and birds appears throughout her work as symbolic imagery that reflects themes of equality among life forms, transformation, and the cycles of life and death.

Many of these symbols are influenced by Hindu mythology, and South Asian culture. The female figure is central to her practice, and her perspective as a woman and mother shapes both her storytelling and visual language.

She is currently developing her series ‘My Spirit to Yours’ into a multi-dimensional body of work that includes both 2D and 3D forms. Through this series, she aims to experiment with diverse materials, expand the possibilities of drawing and painting, and deepen the conceptual and material research behind the work.
