Shunpike relies on the generous support of individual donors, foundations, corporations, and government support, in order to provide its fiscal sponsorship services at an affordable rate for all artists. Contributions also make it possible for us to offer arts related professional development events and opportunities to our associated programs, and the general public.

Through its fiscal sponsorship program, Shunpike allows member groups to pursue tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. This is made possible through Shunpike’s status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This is why all donations must be made to Shunpike.

Groups receive 90% to 93% of all donations made in their name, depending on their level of service. Shunpike fees are intentionally low to keep our services accessible. Shunpike also fundraises, in order to subsidize the costs of running this program.

Upon donation, you will receive a tax-receipt. If your donation is designated to one of our fiscally sponsored groups, they will be notified immediately and their portion of your donation will become available to them for costs associated with their artistic mission.
