We are now accepting applications for Artist Residencies and Window Art Installations located in Downtown Seattle for the July 2026 – January 2027 cycle! Applications are due Friday, May 8.

In preparation for applying, join Shunpike Program Managers for a detailed overview of the 2026 Storefronts and Artist Residencies application process during an online session on April 27 at 4:30pm. This session will cover eligibility requirements, application components, and key deadlines. The session includes:

• A live Q&A session with Program Managers.

About Shunpike Storefronts & Artist Residencies:

Shunpike Storefronts & Artist Residencies program transforms empty commercial spaces into vibrant hubs for creativity and community engagement. Artists are invited to apply for either a downtown residency OR submit a proposal for a window display.

Residencies and window displays will run for 6 months and all selected artists will receive stipends for participating.
