“On Tyranny Project” integrates the power of words, printmaking, and community building to engage viewers in an interactive installation, and it brings attention to the dangers of tyranny and fascism. The colors of the installation aim to energize viewers to take the next step toward becoming more civically engaged. Visually stimulating from afar, as the viewer approaches and is drawn into the flow and pattern of the installation, they are then able access more information about Timothy Snyder’s book, On Tyranny, via a QR code. In a world in crisis, our work invites people to become participants in their destinies and act in good faith ways toward building a better future.
