ARTIST: Nina Vichayapai

Nina Vichayapai is a soft sculptural installation artist who uses fabric as a language to communicate identity. Through vibrant displays created of textiles associated with domestic interiors her work explores the concept of dynamic and migratory homes and their relationship to identity in the lives of immigrants. Her recent projects involve joining research with personal narrative to address how physical spaces embody stories of resistance, assimilation, and adaptation.
