Artist Statement: My name is Jessie Lipscomb & I’m a digital artist & painter. In 2023, I had a mental break that resulted in large scale painting. I grew comfortable perfecting digital designs but would spiral. Switching to paint and releasing control presented learning opportunities about painting and myself. 

Artist Bio: Jessie “Momma Lips Draws” is known for her joyous portraits that you can’t help but smile back at. She’s a Mom of 3 kids & a SPED Paraeducator. She’s been a Creative all her life & has stayed in the digital world until 2023 when she suffered a mental break & started to paint because she needed to change things up. Since then, she’s intentionally practiced relinquishing the control that the digital space has ingrained in her & gotten back to the joy of creating like her kids.
