Compelling– artistically strong in concept and execution, approachable to a diverse audience, and actively seeking to engage with others about their art. 

Relevant– responsive to, and engaging with, diverse audiences, themes, and ideas. A dynamic process is central considerations for all proposals. In addition, we’re hoping that the art created by the residents is guided by two of Amazon’s leadership principles. 

Learn and Be Curious – At Amazon we’re never done learning and are curious about new possibilities – then we act to explore them. 

Think Big – we believe that thinking small is a self-fulfilling prophecy so we encourage submissions that communicate a bold direction that inspires viewers.
