2+U Resident: 205 House Heads

“We’ve been continuing to use the space for house dance classes every weekend. The group got a bit smaller but I’ve had four people aside from myself continue to show up.”

206 House Heads is a Seattle-based house dance training group that offers free training on house dance. Our Group consists of volunteer teachers who rotate every two to three weeks. Our classes aim to not only teach house dance techniques but also explore the culture and music associated with it. We currently train in apartment spaces offered up by group members, but as the group has grown, we are in need of a more consistent and bigger space. Even as a street art, we realize the importance of having a dedicated and spacious training area to accommodate the increasing number of participants and to further enhance the learning experience.
